Ok so I have a 75 k20 and I am about to get a 77c30 for parts it's a cab chassis truck and I was wondering if I move the leaf springs on my k20 could I use the dually rear end or is my frame to wide I'm not to familiar with the cc trucks and am not sure of all the differences I am making the k20 my tow rig and I am already going to use the flatbed and motor out of the c30 in this truck

Re: Axle swap?
I believe it will fit i have seen people use them on a normal pickup. The only problems i remember was the bed inter fenders got it in the way,But in your case with a flatbed you shouldn't have a problem like that.

Don't know if you ever look on pirate 4x4 at all. I know its quite a bit less width than most 14 bolts. Don't know if you care about looks or not but it may not give you a very too look with it being quite a ways under there compared to a regular 14 bolt as well.

Re: Axle swap?
Well I plan on using the duals so if it fits the wheels will end up just a little wider than a stock single wheel truck It won't look bad in my opinion as I have driven a few of the cc trucks and I like the narrower width for getting around properties and parking in town if needed
Here is a pic of C30 I'm getting

Re: Axle swap?
I didn't know for sure. That would be nice for in town never thought of that. Gives you the extra weight rating and still smaller that must be nice!
