jeeze that steering wheel looks like a nut smoosher™ but I bet you need the leverage of that big diameter.

Re: 59 viking it's been awhile
.
. Yes wish I hadn't I wanted originality and to stop the rust. I just couldn't clear the rusted dash Didn't patch the hole's left the dents. They tell a story this was a work truck so I sanded the top a couple layers of rustoleum primer The black is Semi gloss black. Didn't want a shean when your driving the glare from a shinny(gossy) black dash and flat to me looks fuzzy The bottom (original gold.?) I used Hammerite Bronze....Not perfect but I did it my way and I like it . . the innerside is all Rustlok . . . .

Re: 59 viking it's been awhile
yes I did the height was too tall
so I custom made bracket and bolted them to the seat then to the truck . Stock 2002 GMC safari 3rd row seat . . . . custom brackets . .

Re: 59 viking it's been awhile
no adjustment back and forth on the seat's.
as far back as they could go at the height I wanted. Not to far back so there up against the rear window fab'd up the brackets it feels right when your driving and having to crank the big wheel around Why.? It was cheep comfy and the backs flip forward to access behind arm rest and cup holder are Not usefull because this being a big truck if your not cranking on the steering wheel your shift the gears like a monkey with a bad itch.... (4spd with granny 1st and two spd rear axle) I probably average around 6mpg with the gears and propane setup This is no Daily driver . .........and I would have it any other way . ..........Sp . . . .

Re: 59 viking it's been awhile
well, it's your truck so if it is right for you then it is good. if you needed to change out the seat mount you could easily find a slider at the wrecker for cheap. but.....it's your truck,it should fit YOU.
