A little body work hack for the detail line on wheel arches
I just replaced the wheel arches on the bed of my '70. Where I joined the metal toward the bottom I needed a little bit of filler to cover where my weld was. Found a solution for spreading filler and creating a perfect detail line.
![]() That's right, it matches the factory contour perfectly. ![]() Just wanted to share, thought it might make someones life a little easier ![]() |

Nicely done.
Looks like it could be modified pretty easily to accomodate other shapes, too. K

wrap that bad boy in sandpaper and you have a perfect block for that area. Jim

^ Yup! Been putting a little bit of 180 grit PSA paper on it and it works like a charm!
