Choosing shocks and coils
I have ordered 2.5" spindles and a 5" flip kit for my 84. I forgot to order 1" coil springs and new shocks for all the way around. Can anyone recommend new shocks and springs. The spindles and flip kit are western chassis. I was going to order summit brand springs but realized they were for 3" drop.

Re: Choosing shocks and coils
We have always had good luck with the McGaughys products. Let us know if we can help.

Re: Choosing shocks and coils
How do I determine which shocks I need for the rear. I know stock length works up front but not sure how to determine which ones will work on the rear with the flip kit

Re: Choosing shocks and coils
Measure the distance between shock points at ride height, then I can help you determine the rest. Usually around a 11" compressed to 18" extended works well when you have shock relocators.
