Ad rear bumper & bumper bracket question

Can someone tell me the difference between front bumper bracket and rear bumper brackets. I know the rear ones dip down. I also know the suburban front bumper goes on the rear. Will a front bumper on a 1/2 truck bolt to the rear bumper brackets

Re: Ad rear bumper & bumper bracket question

no, the front wont bolt to the rear without some work, the rear bumper on the AD is flatter than the front.

mine sticks out a bit, I am thinking of drilling (plasma cutting haha) the holes and moving it in a few inches

front for comparison.

look at the outboard 1/3, you can see the curves

now that is not to say you cant use a front bumper on the rear, I have seen guys do just that by adapting the front brackets.
