Re: headers on a 1968
I put headers on my 68 and cut a small piece of pipe between the header flange and the bracket on for the alternator, then used a longer bolt.

Re: headers on a 1968
Can you provide me with an e-mail address to send hi res pictures to? I tried to attach, but can't due to size. I have a '68 350CID, with Headman Headers, it appears that the mounting bracket might be different? I purchased it this way, so can't help with the part unfortunately.

Re: headers on a 1968
I,d install a set of corvette 2 1/2" outlet rams horn manifolds instead, dorman makes cheap repops . all headers leak, rust out quickly and super heat the floor board up. jmo
