Suburban and Panel Truck Stuff
Lost my storage, so I'm offering a package deal. This will include-a full set of front seats which includes the hardware for mounting the jump seat; 2 extra jump seats no hardware; a 3rd(or 2nd) seat no springs; 2 panel truck seats(passenger side needs repair); 2 good hood hinges; 2 60-63 vent window assemblies; extra cushions for a 2nd(short seat) with no frame; and a mix of windshield moldings for 60-63 and 64-66. There are enough pieces to make a set for each type, with pieces left over. Even a few pieces of the wide 60-61 moldings. There are about 10 clips with this group. Also included is a Suburban gas tank with the spare cutout. $500 for everything picked up in Galesburg IL. Should be able to fit in one pickup load, if packed carefully.

Re: Suburban and Panel Truck Stuff
Bottom of the tank. Not sure if the stuff on the corner is to patch a leak or to soften the area for the strap. Tank doesn't look like it's ever leaked, however.

How much for the windshield molding need a set to fit 64-66 cab shipped to 78641. Is there any damage on the moldings?

Re: Suburban and Panel Truck Stuff
I'd rather keep the moldings with the entire package, and try to get rid of everything together. This stuff had to come out of inside storage and is now under a tarp. I'll let you know if I decide to break it up.

Re: Suburban and Panel Truck Stuff
I'm afraid that would be pretty impractical for me. I assume you're thinking of trucking the stuff?

Re: Suburban and Panel Truck Stuff
Any more on the condition of the fuel tank? Inside rust? Could it be cleaned by buyer or would you guess it will take dip tank? Not asking for any guarantees. Just some thoughts. From your end.

Re: Suburban and Panel Truck Stuff
I'd guess there is surface rust on the inside, but not bad. The top of the tank looks good, and that's where moisture would lie. As I mentioned above, there's something stuck on the bottom which I'd guess would be where the strap rode. It doesn't look like it's ever leaked. The fill spout has a bunch of road tar built up on one side, but I can't see how that would hurt it.

"Southern Parts", I am not that far from Milan. I am getting this for a project I do not have yet so if there is something in particular you were interested in we could probably work out something fair if my offer works here.
