Control arm front end
My dad recently passed away in the beginning stages of 1951 gmc build. His plans were to do an s10 swap but I don't want to mess around with having to find a clean s10 frame as his truck is a clean Idaho frame and body. My question is does anyone make a bolt in crossmember like porterbuilt for a 47-54. I'd prefer a bolt in apposed to a weld in mustang 2 kit. Any help is appreciated

Re: Control arm front end
Sorry I should have specified. He was thinking air ride. I seen that one but it's not compatability with air ride. He really liked the simplicity of my porter built on my balzer. (He helped me install it)

Porterbuilt is in the design stages for the 47-55 dropmembers. You may want to contact Nathan.

Re: Control arm front end
Not sure your budget, but Scott's has a real nice unit. I love the weld-in setup of theirs that I used on my 53.

Re: Control arm front end
chassisengineering.com in Iowa manufacture & sell components & kits for these trucks, don't know if they are available for airbags.
