My new to me 1970 K-5 CA truck

Hi guys
Just bought my first K-5 and she's en route home back east from CA. This truck has been owned by the same family for 45yrs. Spent most of her life in Sacramento area. Looking forward to cleaning her up and fixing a few rust issues, bottom front fender rust and passenger rocker pitting. Super exited!

That looks like a great start. Heck, you are way past a start with that one, it looks nice as it sits.

Here's a couple more photos. She's loaded up and ready for her journey to her new home.

The photo was taken by the owners neighbor. I unfortunately could not pick her up. I would have love too though.

That's clean and rust around here is pretty limited. Worst you will see is rockers and maybe a little in the fenders.

She was dropped off today after her long journey. The good...outside body is very clean except for rot on bottom passenger fender. The bad....some rust in the cowl where the hood meets the cowl. One hole on passenger and driver side. Bother rockers have light rust passenger ahead small hole. Don't know what's under the rubber mat but I expect some rust.Rocker boxes and chassis is rock solid. Runs good and looks barn fresh as she actually was. I will post photos when I can. Overall I'm very happy!

Looks nice! I was hoping you were going to ditch the running boards, but didn't want to say anything because some people like them. Looks way better now.
