68' CL find, good price?

Spotted this in CL, been on there a while. Looks like the floors and rockers are in pretty good shape. price seems a little steep. Thoughts?

Wish I could find trucks that solid my neck of the woods , I would be all over that for that price, a truck in that condition in my area would be listed double that. and Im sure the owner has a little wiggle room on the asking price.

If it was 2000 miles closer to me, I'd be out the door.

It's worth double that here on east coast. You can't find one that solid out here.

Exactly, if some enterprising buyer/hauler/flipper started bringing those solid trucks east and selling them, they would make a bundle of $$$

I've contemplated this quite a bit as I'm from Virginia and live in New Mexico now. The trouble isn't finding them it's getting them east in the most cost effective fashion. I'm still trying to decide the best way to do it.
I had some rust free oe bedsides and other stuff for sale in Virginia priced well that took a while to sell, I'm not completely sure that the market is good enough to warrant it... End of tangent haha.

When I retire or even before it would be fun to fly Space A as mil ret'd out to the NW, and drive one of these back, even as a LB 6 cyl that truck is cool, with great patina for the $. I think I could get that much for my 68, rusted but it's a shortfleet.

Steep? You should see the garbage they ask 5K for here in SC. The irony is, really nice trucks only sell for 10-12K.

I don't care if it's a longbed, I'd pay his full asking price.

Re: 68' CL find, good price?

Typically go for $2500-3g over here. It's been on CL for a month or more probably due to being a LWB and inline 6 with 4spd. Buyers are picky over here lol If it were a SWB it'd be gone a long time ago.
