275/60-15 on a 10" wide wheel

Ok, I know the recommended widest wheel to use for the 275/60-15 is 9.5"

Anyone safely running them on a 10"?

They look Killer

I don't know if I ran them "safely" or not but I ran them awhile on my 79. No troubles, other than when they mounted them. Tire guy had to fidget with them a bit to get them to seal and take air.

Not the best picture, but zero problems when I had them on mine:

I've got them on mine rite now. Don't believe everything a tire guy tells you, most of the time they only know what a computer is telling them. You have to remember, back in the 70's and 80's. There wasn't any 9.5" wheels. Most everyone was running 275x60 on 10" wheels

Totally running 275's on a 10" rim. They look a tick narrow, but they are absolutely fine, and perfectly safe.
