Where can i get assembly pictures?

Even though I took lots of pictures, I'm having difficulty remembering where and how every item goes. Right now I'm using an LMC catalog which is a big help, but is not detailed enough. I've noticed a few members here posting pictures of assembly views, and wondered if these were available online somewhere. Right now, I'm trying to figure out exactly how the steering column attaches to the dash panel right below the instrument cluster.
I should have taken a video of the entire truck before dis-assembly.
Thanks

Re: Where can i get assembly pictures?

IIRC, there's a "half-moon" bracket that clamps the column to the dash framework with two bolts on either side. Then, at least on mine, there's a plate that covers that with four bolts. Slightly closer to the driver, there's a smaller bracket that screws into the bottom lip of the dash with two large Phillips head screws. Hope that helps.

Thanks !! I didn't have the brake pedal assembly in place and that's what threw me in a loop. All makes sense now !! I'm sure something else will stump me soon enough.

you've got the board at your finger tips, more helpful guys I have never met. But, if that fails you can reference the factory assembly manual, it just isn't played out in a user friendly format

Re: Where can i get assembly pictures?

2x on the factory assembly manual. As much of a PITA it is to use it has saved me many headaches. Best $35 I ever spent. Mine has about 200 sticky notes hanging out of it. Makes looking "it" up later on less painful. LOL

Re: Where can i get assembly pictures?

C shaped strap with 2 bolts holds column, then the column support plate bolts on with 4 bolts has bumper on it for brake pedal, then the trim piece that holds the rubber grommet to the dash bezel. and the wiring goes over and above all that.
