chrome dually wheels
So for a lack of a better place to ask the question. I want a set of chrome steel dually wheels. I beleive American Racing made them years ago. If all else fails I will buy a set of ION's or American Eagle's. I am looking for the ones in the picture here. Anyone know if someone makes them or chromes them anymore?

Re: chrome dually wheels
Idk if anyone makes them but I'm sure any local chrome shop could do a set for you I'm going to do the same when I get my 97 c3500 it has simulators on it and they always make noise so I'm going to have the rims chrome plated and find the factory center caps for it as it has the right lugnuts for them already will look a lot cleaner

Re: chrome dually wheels
Before Alcoas these were the hot lick. Never popular back east, but in the west I saw many a truck running these. In the '8s I put a set on a '70 CST/30 I had. Tears later, I ended up buying a '71 Custom/30 wrecker from the guy I sold the '70 to. He had put the chrome Budds on it, so I got them back (not sure what he did with the west coast mirrors I had chromed). all I know is one of the rears had pretty bad chrome from sitting and I looked high and low/right and left for one and never found any. I had a WTB on here for years as well as other classifieds. Its hard to believe they all vanished. Maybe that clean set is still out there waiting for you. I dig them because they are the only era-correct custom wheel for '70s and earlier dual wheel trucks

Re: chrome dually wheels
I had a set of Harley Mag wheels powder coated Chrome. Yes they make a color in Chrome and it looks pretty good. Worth looking in to.
