Long tube headers for a '51
Has anyone been able to fit long tube headers in a 47-53? If so which ones
I have a 51 with a LS1/4L60 out of an '04 GTO and would really like to use long headers when I get new exhaust. |

Re: Long tube headers for a '51
No. Tried Camaro and GTO. They either were too wide in the rails or the collector was in the wrong position
Gave up and am building some - driver's side tacked up, waitng for mandrel bends to do the pax side |

That looks good.
Did you start with a certain type of headers and modify them or build from scratch? I'm thinking about finding something close and modifying. |

I already have some Hooker block huggers that fit. I would just like Long tube headers if possible.
I need to get new exhaust and only want to once. Don't want to take it in until it stops raining, which will be a few months. So just researching some options Posted via Mobile Device |
