Does anyone know where I can buy a gauge for my 63. the dash came with the air pressure gauge but I'd like to put in a vacuum gauge.

There's lots of places to choose from...I'd go to Summit Racing and you can see their selection.

Well, that's what I'm finden too. Summit and the rest of the outlets have plenty of aftermarket ones, but no stock stuff. I can get em for the 70 C10 but not the 63. I'll just keep watchen, thanks guys.

Re: In Dash Vacuum gauge?

Small fortune if you find an original one.
I put an early '60's Pontiac gauge into my '63 and it looks proper (and costs much less).
Greg.

Re: In Dash Vacuum gauge?

so this guy sell reproduction decals for the gauge faces, I wonder if you could combine this repro sticker with an aftermarket vac gauge ?
http://www.60thru66chevytrucks.com/services.html

here is what he says about the sticker:
These are high quality decals made with 3M controltac, UV and fade resistant. The decals are die cut so that you can simply peel decal and place directly onto the gauge with little to no cutting required. They are printed in a matt black finish that is comparable to the OEM finish.

Re: In Dash Vacuum gauge?

If anybody is interested saw this on eBay today.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-67-Olds...lWL2vm&vxp=mtr

Its the one I am using in my cluster, got it for about the same price. Waiting for my decals to arrive and then will post up pictures of the completed item.

Re: In Dash Vacuum gauge?

I copied what chevyrestoguy did. Start reading at post #11.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=512259

Worked on my 66, so might be able to get it to work on your 63.

Re: In Dash Vacuum gauge?

That's looks nice. only problem I have is the olds gauge is 0 to 24 and the decal you put on is a 0 to 30. so I don't think your gauge is reading correct. if that matters to ya. I bought the one on ebay, so I'll be putten it in soon as my shoulder repair heals up.
