Vw low backs fit in c10 and look decent?
Got a chance to get a set of late 60's vw low backs for a reasonable price will they fit in a c10 and look decent. I know there are some vw guys on here and I couldn't find anything on a search except some high backs. If anybody got some please post.

They will "fit", but it likely will not be a bolt in deal. You are probably going to have to modify the tracks.
If they look "decent" is an entirely subjective viewpoint. I didn't care for them in VW's, so I probably wouldn't like them in these trucks, but your opinion could be different. |

The tracks are built into the pan on most.....it will take a bit of fab to make them work. Scat lowbacks are nice and not too bad price wise too, about 500 for a set from summit.

If you're looking to go that route, you might want to check out Summit's seats. I've got these in a drag car project, and a buddy put them in a Studebaker and Mustang that he road raced in Mexico (2000 miles!) and Newfoundland Canada respectively.
Said they were extremely comfortable. For $127, plus the price of the seat tracks, it's hard to beat brand new seats. And they really look a lot like the Buddy Buckets in '66. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/rgg-1340001
