Header Help!
I have an 1986 C10 with a factory 4 speed with a hydraulic clutch. I'm in the middle of doing a motor swap. I putting a ZZ4 on it. I mocked up the Sanderson Headers.
https://www.sandersonheaders.com/san...eader-set.html They don't clear. I reached out to Sanderson before I purchased them. I just sent another e-mail this morning. Does anyone have any insight? Thank you |

Re: Header Help!
I forgot to mention that is lowered approximately 5 inches in the front. Trying to find a header set that does hang below the frame rail.

Re: Header Help!
I don't have any tech to offer but I do have some Sanderson shorties (#bb8) on a Blazer with a 454 and hydraulic 4spd that fit perfect. Do your headers look like the sites pic (misboxed?)? Where is the interference? Factory hydraulics?

Re: Header Help!
I have a NV833 manual trans. Where the clutch slave cylinder mounts. It's directly in the way for running exhaust. I'll shoot some pics this afternoon.

Re: Header Help!
Not sure if they'd make enough difference but did you see the angled collectors (pipe side) that Sanderson offers?

The A833 transmission is a beast on its own unfortunately. |
