Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
I ran mine on the outside of the frame rail held down with insulated line clamps. Went behind the and under shock. I drilled a hole in the rear upper spring mount and used a 90 degree fitting

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
Hey Hart_Rod. I've read your threads several times and stole a lot of your ideas. You were one of my inspirations to bag my c10. Do you really wanna take a chance and get ideas from a novice like me, really? That's like a 40 year old oak tree asking a pallet of grass how to grow. I used insulated wire clamps and routed them along the frame rail up to the bags. When the air line entered the stock crossmember, I routed the air line thru some heater hose. Good luck and thanks for all your ideas and inspiation. Happy New Year.

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
I'm gonna follow this thread for inspiration but I will say I have been using stainless steel line clamps for all lines and wiring. I have a roll of aluminum line in he garage just waiting for me to grow a set to bend it. I currently have dot line and I just don't like how it bends around certain areas.

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
I ran all my 3/8" line with made4you clamps. I routed the airline, fuel line, as well as the brake line in them. They have various sizes where you could have 2 different sizes in one clamp.

I especially like the bulkhead in the frame close to the air tank I was just telling my brother I want to do the same thing to try and keep everything clean. |

Thanks Longhornss. I tried to keep it as clean as possible and still be able to work on it easily.

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
Sorry for the late response, I've been dealing with a family pet emergency. Thanks for the posts and pics. What I'm specifically looking for is how you brought the airline from inside the frame to the front airbag fitting. As I see it, there's know "elegant" way to do it....

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
On a side note; I love the "double" tailgate mod to finish the raised bed. That looks really cool.

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
I'm curious to know more details about your clamp on the upper PB A-arm holding the brake line. Where did you get it?
Looks great. Thanks Marc

Re: Porterbuilt air line routing....
That's what I thought....I also seem to remember seeing some somewhere that were black with a small hole to run the hose through. Kind of looked like some hose clamps from billet specialties but I don't recall where I saw them.
Thanks for the reply Marc
