Let see what you got. I built a mount for mine and now I am trying to decide where I want to mount it.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Computer mount pictures

I'm mounting the LSx computer in the same spot as the original 1985 ECU under the dash top. Using the same hole in the firewall for the harness to pass thru.

sorry for the hijack:

HOW are you lengthening the wire harness to reach all the way under the seat? snip solder and heat shrink? any advice would be great.

Thanks

lay it out on a bench run your new or lengthened wiring in a loop and back to your ECM that way you cut and splice one wire at a time and a lot of patience if you PM me your cell I can send you pic Doug

Re: Computer mount pictures

Not sure if your application will work but hey might be useful to someone. Had to build a bracket for the DBW pedal so knocked out two birds with one bracket. Kept the throttle cable hole for the mechanical gauge oil line to pass through but filled the washer lines and rear harness holes. Made the plate out of 1/8" steel with a brake in it on the drivers side. Used the original gas pedal bolts and a small 90 degree brace screwed to the cab reinforcement bump out for support.

Trans controller. Took 1/4" 20 1 1/4" all thread and welded 1 1/4" fender washers to the end then ground flat to make a stud. I took these and used 3m panel bonding adhesive to glue them directly to the firewall after grinding the paint to bare metal. Did this to eliminate putting screws/hole through the firewall

Also glued some studs for the relays on the back side of the cowl gutter.

Re: Computer mount pictures

I saw where someone here mounted it inside the glove box and it looked pretty clean. Right now mine is on the pass side floor board up high along with my fuses /relays but I want to move it to the glove box once I put carpet in.

This is it from Pace Performance, not sure if it will work or not as I had to swap two wires around for a 2009 computer. I think if the connector is the same it should work, but again can't be positive.

I was not trying to be condescending. I was just thinking out loud. the wiring is the one and only thing i dread about my swap. I still havent made up my mind 100% where i am going to mount mine. planning behind glove box but as i said, dread the spaghetti i am gonna need to deal with.
