Power steering pump fitting
I read that I can use the sae fitting on the back of an older pump on the LS pump to adapt my lines to the LS pump. Can this fitting be purchased somewhere? I'm not having a ton of luck finding it and I no longer have my old ps pump.

Re: Power steering pump fitting
Subscribed. With my engine location, I just tweaked the return hose (the one made into pump tank) slightly to clear frame rail. I'm curious to see what others have done for the pressure line.

Re: Power steering pump fitting
I have an 84 Burb box on my 69 (o ring fittings)....the hose screwed right into the LS pump. Yes, I did have to tweek the return line , as above mentioned, just a bit, to clear the frame rail. if you find the early flare fit nut, it will screw right into the LS pump ......longhorn

Re: Power steering pump fitting
I used an old 70's pump fitting on my 2002 4.8l truck p/s pump. I had a hard time finding one as well.

Re: Power steering pump fitting
I used the fitting out a 75 chevy pump and put in my Ls pump. Andy4639 is the Upstate Gm truck club accepting new Members? Nothing on there site to join and I'm in Greenville for awhile.

Re: Power steering pump fitting
I used the Speedway adapter linked in the previous thread and a set of stock style lines for a 72 with small block. Screwed right into the LS pump and sealed fine with the O-ring to flare adapter.
