Rear fenders with large wheels or tire "what to do"?

Im curious what guys are doing if they run large wheels or rubber in the rear ?My goal is to have it lay frame without all the weight resting on the fenders.

My first idea was to lift the fender as you see in the pic .If i do that then i need to adjust the steps also and it might look off and its more work.
Then i thought if i just got lower profile tires it might lay and tuck but i love the larger rubber on the back.

Any advice would be awesome.

thanks,

If you raise your fender you could just add the same amount you raised it to the front part of the rear fender so your filler panel and running board still line up right. In other words you would cut the fender and add a filler panel. I saw a truck that they lengthened the fender so it would layout.
