66 body trim data plate
I've seen some guys on this site with previous threads that have had these data plates remade and I have even bought an extra 1965 plate from one of them. Problem is I want the exact correct stamping of my #'s. I have the original aluminum data plate off my 115" short wheel base with Custom Cab trim Z62AA stampings too. I was thinking I could polish the aluminum plate and clean up the stampings and have a silk screen or decal placed over my original plate? Anyone done it this way or even know who would have a correct 1966 colored decal or capable of silk screening or etching an original back on it?
I am wanting it to be correct for the 1966 model year with the 327 engine listed as an option. Mark Here is the old plate from my original truck.

Re: 66 body trim data plate
Mark , I've used the guy Clyde65 mentioned above for a different item, definitely worth asking. He knows his Fonts and if he has the correct stamps hes your guy. Color may be another thing to ask. 100% satisfied for what he did for me.

Re: 66 body trim data plate
Thanks guys. I have two plates to have done so well see what kind of estimate this runs. Good to know you were happy with the results too, Jon. Mark
