Re: Engine mounts
do you have the frame mounts that bolt to the top of the frame & the cross member for the front? The engine uses some "adapters" that go between the engine & the insulator that bolts to the frame mount. I MAY have an extra set of these up in the barn.

Re: Engine mounts
ok, thank you so far.
As I live in Germany i have to check where I can get the best shipping conditions. (is there a quality difference between LMC, Classicparts or Summit?) Are you sure that the man 3speed had no transmission crossmember and transmission mounts?? In the front, thats how it looks: |

Re: Engine mounts
the shipping will be the big hassle for you as they have their own specified ways that they want to ship you and they don't really care what it seems to cost you. they should all have their shipping policies stated some where on their site. doubt that there is a difference between suppliers in quality. mail is usually the cheapest and some may ship by post . always ask.
there was was no rear trans mount 60-66 for a stock application 3 or 4 speed manual trans and is not recommended if you are using the under the b/housing mounts. one can put a 3 speed in there that perhaps came from a car which may have a mounting spot for a mount, but that doesn't mean that it has to be mounted ron |
