replacement radiator help

so i am replacing my radiator. the one i just got from the local auto parts store will not fit in between the frame rails. it measures to be a little over 25". it looks like for it to fit in between the rails it needs to be under 23 3/4. everything i see online looks to be in the 25" range. am i missing something?

Re: replacement radiator help

As shown in the links, your's proably came with the 6 cylder radiator and you have a v8 for the replacement. Also the core is narrow than the tanks and I have seen some aftermarket ones that didn't have the slight indentations so it would fit right.
