1966 LS headers

Hello all, well I am back to working on my 66 , picked up the heart today , 2005 6L with a tremec 6 speed behind it , I have been surfing here trying to find info on headers mounts etc , to get ready to drop it ? I know a few of you have does this , so to save some time and money , who has the best fitting headers ? who makes the nicest motor mount set ? thanks in advance , I am getting really excited about the swap !!

Go to the engine section and go to the LS swap at the top. Lots of info there and pics to help.

The swap section is a big help when it come to the options on where you want stuff. I have the headman 45666 headers for mine and a set of the CPP mounts. All still in the boxes till I get the cab done and back on the frame so I can work on the engine placement. I may end up machining a set of adapter plates to go on the block to get it where I need it. CPP and Dirty dingo both make slider style mounts for moving the engine forward or back to get it right. I have a 4l60 behind my 5.3 so I can't help on the stick details. Lots of ways to skin this cat so you may want to post in that section and get feed back on that.

thanks again Jimmy , looks like the pan needs to be changed as well , was out of a SSR and the pan dips on the front ,
