Help ID'ing a dash cluster.
Can someone help me pin down what year this is from? Is there a date code on it? I have no need for it, but it was too cheap to not buy! It has a mechanical oil gauge, AMPS instead of VOLTS, 5k tach, 100MPH speedo with KPH, and no 55mph mark.

Re: Help ID'ing a dash cluster.
If its a km/h speedo its Canadian and its a 73-75 since it has the amps and mechanical oil gauge.
They aren't worth much since most people swap out for the newer gauges. |

Speedo has 100 MPH on the outside and the smaller KPH scale on the inside in blue.

Re: Help ID'ing a dash cluster.
As has been said, the ammeter puts it in the 73 - 75 range. The tach face is the 73 - 75 style as well.
The speedometer has been swapped though. The blue KPH scale on the inside started in 76. It's hard to tell from the pic, but it looks like the speedometer has a small "window" at the bottom for a "BRAKE" warning light. If so, that would make it an early/mid 76 speedometer. If it has a wider "window" with room for 2 warning/indicator lights it would be a late 76 to 79 speedometer. |

I would agree, it looks like a 73-75 cluster with a 76-79 speedo.

Re: Help ID'ing a dash cluster.
Thanks for the info, guys. I gave $50 for it and the wiring harness. I think I'll be able to make out ok using it to do some horse trading for parts I need.

Re: Help ID'ing a dash cluster.
I would say you were on the receiving end of a good deal. The early tachs are hard to find and are worth a lot more than you paid even if the speedo is not quite right.
