is this a good deal?
I found a 1982 K20 Chevy longbed pickup. its just down the road from me. it has the 6.2 diesel that runs great and doesnt have any odd sounds to it. the transmission is a th400 and looks as if it was rebuilt previously with a shift kit because of the hard shifts. it has brand new tires and steel rims on it. it has the normal rust in ohio in the cab corners and rocker panels but the underside of the truck is in great shape. the exhaust needs replaced which i was plannin on changin anyway. it has a locking diff in it. he has a problem with it getting water in the fuel though, he thought mabey the oring for the senders were leaking because it doesnt happen when we havent had rain for a while. he's asking 2500 for it and i think i can get it for 2000 hopefully. the problem is my dad said i have to wait till after harvest(sucks). its got a cargo light and cab lights. and where was the cargo light switch from the factory because im not sure if its mounted right or not. so let me know what ya think.

to answer your question about the cargo light, the factory switch is mounted high in the pilar behind the drivers door. |

The factory cargo light switch location is behind your left shoulder. close to where the seat/shoulder belt mounts up at. Price of the truck varies location to location, but seems to be in the ball park.
