some what of a bad idea you get Mildew that eats into the wood and makes it soft then you get wood Rot then cancer that's like leaving trash like leave dirt and any thing that holds water so if you have a good Bed wood put some water Thomson's wood oil seal or just pour old Oil on your bed and let it soak in it will stop the mildew and Wood Rot

I can't afford a new Wood bed kit ... and the wood is shot so I want the mat to cover up the crappy Wood and look nicer

bed strips, Steel. $81.00

You could also go to a cabinet shop and give them these and they can cut them for you.

Oh and bolt kit.

Re: 65 c10 fleetside bed mats ?

I couldn't find a rubber bed mat fit for my 64 fleetside so I got one for a recent (in the 2000's) Chevy fleetside. It fits the fenderwells ok, but is short on the sides in front and behind the fenders.

Re: 65 c10 fleetside bed mats ?

look for one for a newer ford super duty. their beds are wider than a newer chevy. 60-66 fleets are about 3to4" wider. get a long bed and cut it.

Re: 65 c10 fleetside bed mats ?

As I mentioned, I'm pretty sure Jim Carter sells one that fits a long bed. At least he did a couple of years ago when I bought one.
