What the ?*@#
... so I get ready to bolt on my water pump pulley / spacer / fan on my 250. Can't get bolts to start, so end up pulling radiator back out. Found holes on water pump snout drilled wrong, all holes 1/2 hole off ! Oh happy days ! Going to re drill and continue on I guess ...

Re: What the ?*@#
GM has used 2 different bolt diameter patterns, that I have seen. Some water pumps have both patterns and others don't. I know on my Nova wagon, when I replaced the water pump, it had the correct holes for the factory pulley and fan. If you have a parts store local, you might see if they have a different pump that has the right pattern.
