72 Sub spare tire well in a 60-66
Hi everybody. I was going through some of the build threads and saw one where a guy turned a 72 Sub into a form of Tahoe. Anyways, I was looking at the pics of the rear of his 72, and got to wondering if there was a way of utilizing the spare tire well in a 72Sub in a 60-66 Suburban? The wheel wells on the 60-72 all look the same, so it would be a matter of getting the well out of a 72 and modifying it to fit the 60-66 models. Has anyone ever done this? I'm kind of wanting to see if it can be done. I have a friend who deals only in 71 & 72 pickups so he might know where to get the well. If it isn't too much work, I will do it to my 65 Suburban and post the pics.
