Question New motor new gauges

I put an ls swap in my 68, i had done the s10 cluster diy retrofit but doesnt work, so I'm wanting to go with the gstock cluster from classic instruments.

I have a 90s silverado nv3500 and it has the vss sensor...do i NEED to get the converter box?
