LS Camaro Tank Fuel Pump Question

I hope this is the correct forum for this question. I am putting a 5.7 vortec engine in my 70 c10 and I'm going to use a gas tank from a 2001 camaro that I already have on hand. The only problem is that the fuel pump module has been dissected by the PO. The plastic module is there but the electric fuel pump and everything else attached to it is gone. Is it possible to put a new electric pump on the assembly? I wanted to avoid buying a new assembly since they are so overpriced. I tried researching but I couldn't find any information on how to replace just the electric pump only. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: LS Camaro Tank Fuel Pump Question

Yes a new pump can be installed. I put the equivalent of a whalbro (or however it's spelled) 255lph in the factory plastic pump housing. Idk bout short beds but long bed took me relocating the rear most frame bracket where the taillight bracket attaches (if I remember correctly) there is a guy on here that did a big write up on how he mounted it. Mine has worked out fairly well.

Re: LS Camaro Tank Fuel Pump Question

Thanks, mine is a long bed. Do you happen to know the part number of the pump you bought? And also maybe point me in the direction of some instructions on how it goes together? Like I said everything is missing so I don't know how it goes together.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
