LS transfer case options
Is there a LS platform (engine, trans, transfer) that has the transfer case with manual levers or do you need to buy an older transfer case and mate to the transmission? I am looking to do a swap on the blazer and the concern I have at the moment is the transfer case and not having to dump a lot of $$$$ into making one work.
I have looked through many sites and this particular question doesn't really come up. My Blazer looks to have the NP 205 on a 4 speed and it looks like I have to pick up a lot of parts to mate it to either a 4L80E or 4L60E. And yes, I am digging through the threads in the LS "What ya got" posts..... Thanks, Smitty

Re: LS transfer case options
I'm pretty sure it can be done with a 241C.
All of the OBS trucks with 4l60 and 4L80 had them available. I've seen 99-06 with the same floor shift and I'll assume they are 241C's as well. Pretty good case. Not gear driven but pretty good non the less. An HD version was used behind some the Cummins. They are cheap and parts are everywhere.

Re: LS transfer case options
Here is some pics of the 241-4L60E assembly showing the part number for the adapter......I mocked it up with a bare 4L60E case to get my dimensions for fitment/fab
