Tubular control arms question
I have a 65 c10 I am wanting to put air bags on. I just ordered a pair of cpp drop spindles that are they way. My question is it really that much better to run tubular control arms upper and lower or not really. I want to make the truck handle good and plan on running front and rear sway bars and I know that will also help. If you do recommend going tubular what brand do you recommend?

Re: Tubular control arms question
Tubular arms wont make a difference in handling over stock. They will allow you to lay out lower though.

Re: Tubular control arms question
OK thanks for the information. I am new to all this. So does it make a difference in just running tubular upper control arm and stock lowers ?

Re: Tubular control arms question
Not to step on you Tiny and correct me if I'm wrong but many tubular control arm manufacturers add caster to aid handling and they also recenter the wheel in the wheel opening. Plus they look cool!

Re: Tubular control arms question
Not to mention most offer bushings that don't deflect as much as stock rubber. Also some correct the ball joint binding that occurs on extreme lowered truck with stock arms. I scored a great installed but zero miles set of DJM bar arms on CL a few months ago for a fraction of new.
