4L65e swap questions
Swapped in a 5.3/4l65e to my 70 chev. Trying to figure out my speedo, cooler lines and trans linkage now.
Can you run an original speedo? Has anyone done an adapter from the VSS to a cable drive? What trans cooler lines are you guys running? How about you shift linkage for on the column shifting? Pics would really help, Thanks in advance. Last edited by bmfm64; 05-28-2016 at 05:38 PM. |

Re: 4L65e swap questions
Locar trans linkage is what i used.
Cable-x i believe will work. Standard trans cooler lines with barbed ends.

Re: 4L65e swap questions
I used Lokar column shifter linkage also, and Im using rubber transmission oil cooler lines from napa with barbed male end adapters into transmission. No need to bend and fight with metal lines.
