71 Help with drop

Looking to get serious real quick on this 71 Chev C 10. As far as I know all suspension parts are stock. I would like to do a moderate drop frt and rear.

I think the most common I have seen is 2 or 2 1/2 for the front and 5 for the rear.

I have leafs on the rear stock springs and disc's on the frt.

Suggestions on source would be welcomed. I don't like to cut springs and from what I have read the stock springs still perform well even with the drop kits.

I have a grand son coming down and we can't wait to get started on the truck eng, trans, driveine are all good to go.

Re: 71 Help with drop

I'm currently lowering my '71. I just finished the front. Drop spindles from ECE. Moog ball joints and tie rod ends from Summit Racing. Napa brakes. ECE is top notch for quality and service.

Re: 71 Help with drop

Thanks Scott

Looking at all the other remarks it seems like EC is the way to go.

From what I have seen the 2 1/2 frt and 4 or 6 rear give the truck a nice stance. I have leafs on the rear. Might as well get all I need from EC.
