What is the coolant capacity for my '55 2nd series 6 cylinder?

Thanks. I noticed you are working on a '48 with a 292. I have a built up 261 in my truck with a Rochester TBI, Howell electronics and a BW T5 transmission. Wiring was just completed today and I will attempt a start up tomorrow (after adding coolant). Wish me luck. Thanks again for the help. Dennis

Cooler engine than my stock 68 292 by far. I've got to build a place to work on mine before going much further, this working out in the dirt isn't too

We do what we have to do over here on the Rez. The plan is for a 24x32 building that can be expanded out the front later if I ever want to but it will be built one post and one board at a time as I get the cash to do it. I want to retire in January an don't want to owe any money if I can help it. One reason the projects have been going slow is I have been trying to pay down the bills.

Did same thing. Retired 2 years ago at age 60

My ongoing truck projects: 48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six. 71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant. 77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
