Adapter Plate Question
My first LS swap, so please bear with me. I have an LM7 from an 02 Tahoe, that I want to drop into my 70 C20 Panel. The panel is rare, so I don't want to butcher the thing, but I do want a clean swap. There are adapter plates that are original engine location, move it one inch, or that have multiple holes to let you position the engine as needed. Which one would I need for this swap? I think the multiple position would work best, but also think it will look messy.

Re: Adapter Plate Question
Welcome from So Arizona
Do you have any pics of your 70 Chevy Panel, I can't think that the engine and floor around the dash are any different than a pick up, pic will confirm If you have not looked at Dirty Dingo engine "adapters" they have a "slider" that I think will fit your install with out "butchering" anything Take a look around this site there are some very interesting builds with many questions answered with a bit of research Good Luck
