Tail Gate
Does anyone know if the tail gate panel emblem from a truck will work on a Jimmy tail gate?? Found a Black wood grain for a truck but not a jimmy and thought it would look good

Re: Tail Gate
The woodgrain tailgate band with GMC or CHEVROLET letters? Same for K5s and pickups. Same tailgates too.

Only tailgate difference is the addition of the top steel seal strip. And that's just screwed on so you can easily add it to a truck tailgate if you want. I realize that's not your question, but if someone finds this thread 4 years from now searching about Jimmy or Blazer tailgates they will get their answer.

Re: Tail Gate
My Blazer came with that Woodgrain stripe. Still have it, minus the 'O' in Chevrolet, I think. Might have been part of my CST package?

Can't agree w the other guys more. I go to Wes for any repro parts. I can call him for example and ask for all the grommets I need for a firewall and they arrive. He also works with manufacturers to have parts reproduced.

Thats kinda what I thought but when talking to Classic Industries they were like it only fits a truck. And no matter how I asked I got the same answer. Thanks for the input guys...

It's refreshing buying parts from knowledgeable people. We have several active board members that have parts companies.
