Newbie from Missouri
So I'm a newbie here & been lurking a month or so! There are a lot of awesome builds on here!
So I'll try to keep the story short. In March I found a '97 K3500 cclb for a "beater/farm pickup." It needed some front end work & some tlc & had to make it my style. I enjoyed bringing it back to life & continualy fixing issues on it. I think sine March we've had the tranny/transfer case out 4 times now from clutch issues & oops' & losing reverse. Anyhow got me to thinking that I should restore my '66 c10 that I bought when I was 14 back in 1994. I drove it around the farm for a week before pulling the 283/power glide. & it's been sitting outside ever since. One of my buddies, a f*** guy suggested i find a forum to get ideas because I want to make it a 4x4. So I found this site & been lurking since! After looking at holes n floor of my '66 I thought maybe I was starting with too big of a project! I then picked up a '50 3600 that I'm planning on making an "original driver". I will post up some pics soon. Thanks you guys have already been a lot of help! I plan on starting a build thread soon. |
