How would you guys run a return on a squarebody truck 83 model?

My system I'm currently working on has a feed and return should I return the fuel directly back into the tank or return it behind the fuel pump on a t with the 5/16 port, again on working on a 83 model truck Chevy

Return it all the way to the tank, you cant T it in behind the pump. Easiest way is to use a sender for an 87 that is set up for fuel injection and just put in a higher pressure pump.
