Dash Clock Wiring Question
Hello everyone. Just got a 1962 Impala Dash Clock to retro fit onto my dash where it has a few holes at from a previous owner.
My question is for the wiring. Where on the fuse block do I need to plug in the light and the power wire? I see that there are different accessory plugs on my fuse block, but they have different Amp fuses. I have a 63 c10. Thanks! |

Re: Dash Clock Wiring Question
lowest connection on the left side of the fuse block.... left of lowest fuse which is most likely empty as it is for spot light

Re: Dash Clock Wiring Question
I actually have a spot light on that connection, should I splice both the power wire for the clock on the spot there together? Which connection should I connect the lamp wire too after that?

Re: Dash Clock Wiring Question
Is there a fuse in the bottom place for the spot light? if so then the spot should be hooked to the right side of the block if NO fuse and spot is hooked to LEFT side of block then YES split off for clock.... as for the clock light? splice into any dash light I think they are grey wires

Re: Dash Clock Wiring Question
So I got the clock today but I am having a grounding issue when it comes to the lamp Turning on. I noticed the clock on the back side has this what I assume is a Ground, it just a pole that is on the back. After doing research on the 62 Impala clock, it is also supposed to have a bracket that has a hole for that grounding pole that's supposed to go through.... is that my issue? I just need this bracket? I tried soldering a wire onto this grounding pole for ****s and giggles but the solder won't stick. Anyone that could shine some light on this I'd appreciate it.
