CA WTB OEM Alternator Pulley for L6 230 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm looking for one of these pulleys. It has about a half inch spacer built in before the V groove. It was original on the L6 230. Aftermarket alternators have a shallower pulley that doesn't line up.

Thanks, I got some washers in there as spacers and don't know how long that will hold up.

Checked the Pick and Pull up in Winsor for you today, nothing. I'll keep on the lookout for you. I'm just up the road in sonoma county.

Thanks, does that Pick and Pull have much in the way of 60-66 trucks?

They get a few in every year. Scrap price is low now so older vehicles are hard to come by at the pick and pull type yards. When the scrap values go up people are more likely to get rid of grandpa's old truck that is taking up space in the yard.

check these dimensions this is for an Allis Chalmers tractor with the delco 10dn alternator.

The pic didn't show here but I can open it manually. I don't think those measurements would work. The offset is in the wrong spot in relation to the belt location if that makes any sense.

Should have told you earlier,

Contact Tom Lowe. He has a ton of these engines and may have the pulley. Though he specializes more in hotrod parts for these.

The one i have the blank space between V groove and housing is 1/4 inch. Your space appears to be 1/2 - 5/8

Yes I think the one I'm looking for is more like 1/2" or so.
