Which springs for drop?

I have a 69 c10 which has the 4/6 Hotchkis spring kit on it and I am wanting to go lower. So drop spindles and notch the rear. When I go with the 2.5" drop spindles can I keep the 4" springs up front that are already on the truck or will it be to low to be functional? Would love some pics of drop spindles and what size springs your running. Thanks!

I'm not an expert on this but you can see for yourself just by doing some measuring. Just subtract 2.5" from the clearances you have now and remember you need some suspension movement. 4" springs plus spindles I think the crossmember is going to be turned into a road scraper and the tires transferring rubber to the inner fenders though.

I have 2.5" spindles on my truck. Before I bagged it I had 3" springs on it and it would scrape on minor bumps and uneven roads. Before the 3" springs I had 2" with the 2.5" spindles and rarely had any issues. I think you'd either have to drive 5 mph every where you went or only on perfect roads for a 4" spring & 2.5" spindles to work. Springs are pretty cheap, just get some 2" or 3' if you go with spindles.
