Resto & Mods Disapointments
Took some time off, finally got back home to Vegas to work on the 72.
. Maybe its a case of the little things adding up, but here is a couple of irritants from this week. Mostly materials "quality" issues: . 1. Vintage Air flex duct work and air box diffuser fitting 2. GMCPauls defroster vents 3. IDIDIT neutral safety switch 4. Ron Francis Black Box 10 relay screw terminals 5. Dakota Digital pressure and temperature sensor threads 6. Dakota Digital BIM/IO set up and EOL comm's network. I am in the process of learning exactly which systems to modify that would improve the experience of driving my 72 K10. I am reminded at times like this just how much superior engineering and know how went into making our trucks. . Relevant Wisdom in that old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" . Happy Thanksgiving All

Re: Resto & Mods Disapointments
After owning my own business (drag car builder), I have come up with a saying:
Car parts only fit the box they come in. And once removed from that box, they don't even fit that anymore. Posted via Mobile Device |
