York (motorcraft) compressor
Went to pull a part couldn't find one..
Was talking to an old black man at one of the ford trucks.. Ended up meeting up with him the next day for a free York compressor!! Any info on this? Will post #s off painted tag tomorrow |

Those were used on many Ford & after market A/C units. They are interchangeable with Tucumse. The only variations are the hose connectors on top of the head.

It could have tube o-ring seals or Roto Lok valves, don't know 'till you remove them & look. The valves are Front seat - Back seat valves. There will be a plug on the side, when the comp is laying down oil level should measure right at 1". With it standing up about 1 1/8". Use a bent coat hanger to check oil. To get the clutch off, remove the front 5/16" bolt & thread a 5/8" nc bolt in against the crank snout & it will pop right off.
