AAW Severe Duty Complete Car Wiring Harness 510564?
It's designed to mount in any environment. I was thinking of using it under the hood so you don't have to crawl under the driver side dash for access to fuses. It would be used with an LSx swap and would mount the ECU next to it as well... Has anyone moved the main fuse block from the factory location? I was thinking a smoothed firewall, so it would replace the heater box in the engine bay.
I like the modular design of this fuse panel... |

Nice looking kit. A little on the expensive side.

Re: AAW Severe Duty Complete Car Wiring Harness 510564?
Hey Rich, I just installed one of these kits in a customers 78 FJ
It's a really nice kit...there is however a few draw backs. 1. (buy the weather pac crimpers first!) it is a must for crimping your ends that go into the connectors. 2. all of your ignition connections are a bit harder to do and are limited! 3. make sure you have easy access to the plugs (are a little hard to unplug) Me and my Dad (oldman3) have used several AAW kits and usually go with the standard style (run your own wire to the panel and connect) aka. hwy 22 series and they work great. One thing I can say about the kits from them is they do have detailed instructions and are of very good quality just my 2cents Mark..

Re: AAW Severe Duty Complete Car Wiring Harness 510564?
I do have shots of it on the (FJ Build) I ended up putting it inside the glove box do to limited space and the owner wanted it kinda hidden.
Don't get me wrong it is a Very nice kit! It does however take a bit more planning when installing this kit because of how it goes together (plugs etc) unlike the normal HWY 22 series (strip the wire and put it in its place on the panel) These are just things I noticed installing this kit vs. the 22 series (again just my opinion) Mark...

I was originally going this route ....... think I am going to go the rear mount Rebel Wire kit ........ can mount anywhere in truck. Cheaper too.
