WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
Hello,
I'm new here, and signed up to post this. I'm looking for a factory air pressure gauge, either the early or late style would work. If it is in a cluster with a working diesel tach (4k) I would be interested in buying the whole cluster. Not many of the big trucks in my area, so I've had a hard time finding one. I have some of the light truck gauges and cluster parts (good housings w/ all tabs, circuit boards, etc) if anyone has one and wants to trade for other good cluster parts. something like this: |

Is that yours? If yes, are you willing to sell the air gauge separately? Unfortunately I dont have a use for a gas tach.

Re: WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
I'm not sure what I could do with the empty space-I'd like to sell it together. If I get no reasonable offers, I could remove it and put in a clock or vacuum(if I come across one). Maybe an extra gas gauge, and wire them separately. It seems like I saw a diesel tach-I'll try to remember lol.

A diesel tach would be neat. I have some clocks if you need something to put in the hole.
If you prefer to sell it together I understand, but I am definitely interested in the air gauge. |

Re: WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
I'm still interested in this. I have a clock that is correct for 73-75, as well as several of the newer (80+) clocks. Also lots of other nice gauges, probably 15-20 clusters worth from all years (73-87/91). If there is anything you want I'd be interested in a trade or trade+cash.
If you could post some clear pictures of the other gauges, I might be interested in buying the whole cluster if that's the only way you'll part with it. Thanks |

Re: WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
You have just an air gauge? I am interested in purchasing one to swap into my clock cluster, but I would also consider buying a complete cluster if necessary. I have many clusters of all years, so any style of the air pressure gauge would work.
Could you post or PM pics of what you have? Thanks. |

Pictures of the gauges. The tin has some surface rust from dust settling behind the lens. Trying to come up with an easy way to test the gauges. This set would be 1973-75, since it has the ammeter.

Re: WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
I sell a ton of these gauges on ebay, and I have not yet found an easy way to test them. I've never had a tach before, but in my experience if the little gauges look clean they usually work.
I'm only interested in keeping the air gauge and I prefer voltmeters, so I would be swapping that into a 76-79 cluster to install in my 82. I would end up parting out the rest of it anyway. I'd like to see what 1774btcrew has first, but I'm interested and will follow up with you once he has a chance to reply.

Re: WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
More details. I'm also reconsidering separating the pressure gauge-I could put a vacuum gauge there and use it in my 75.

Re: WTB Air Pressure Gauge - Any Year
Just to follow up with this, I ended up buying the air gauge from ratskin and it arrived earlier this week. He was very professional, shipped quickly, and the gauge was as described.
I'm nearly finished modifying a spare cluster to fit it (I hoped it would mount up like a clock, but thats not the case), and am excited to get it installed in the truck. In short, I am very satisfied and would buy more parts from ratskin in the future.
