3D Armrest

So got the 15 year old a 1980 C20, 4,8L to work on until...well forever hopefully. Anyway the damn thing had no armrest, new pannelsbut no armrest. Saw what they cost and kinds gasped. So During our tornado last night I designed some and printed them this morning. Not too bad for a 1st pass and measuring in a down pour I don't think. About $5 in plastic for a pair. Once I refine them I'll pad and add some vinal. Can't get the photos to post

Been looking at printers. Can you tell me what you use and if you are happy with it?

I have access to 5 brands of printers here at wok. The Taz, luxbot, makerbot, polyprinter, and a tinker bit. By far the most accurate, versital, and easily maintained is the polyprinter. They happen to be a local to the DFW area so even when it breaks they are here in a day or 2.

I hadn't thought about it. Trying to perfect it. May try to pad and leather it. Not sure what they would be worth.
