Cruise control speedometer cables for 1976 GMC

I have a 1976 GMC C-15 suburban (454 engine) with cruise control. I am trying to find the speedometer cables. My questions are:

1) are there only two speedometer cables required? One would be from the speedometer to the transducer and the second would be from the transducer to the TH400 transmission.

2) what are the delco speedometer cable part numbers for this application?

Thanks to anyone who can help.

There is also a cable from the transducer to the speedometer in the dash.

I think there are 3. A short one from the transmission to space. A longer one from the space end of the short one to the cruise unit(or speedometer if no cruise). And the final one from the cruise unit to the speedometer.

Guessing the short cable varied by transmission but allowed GM to have one length cable from the short one to the speedometer or Cruise.

Re: Cruise control speedometer cables for 1976 GMC

There are usually two cables and maybe a gear reduction adapter that's mounted directly to the transmission output.
Lower cable from the Transmission to Transducer
Upper cable from the Transducer to Speedometer

Any speedometer shop will either stock your cables or can make em for you.
